Dear Potomac Shores Residents,

Please be advised that Tibbs Paving will be performing asphalt maintenance throughout Potomac Shores on the dates listed below. Please review the schedule carefully and plan accordingly if your street or parking area is affected.

Monday, October 19 – Single-Family Homes Private Shared Driveways/Pipestems ONLY:

Asphalt crack filling and sealcoating will take place on the private shared driveways and pipestems along the following streets:

• Belle Isle Drive
• Spring Cress Drive
• Takeaway Lane
• Twin Six Lane
• Cedar Grove Lane
• Gullwing Drive
• Miss Packard Court
• Silver Arrow Drive

Important Parking and Access Information:

• Please remove all vehicles from the affected shared driveways and pipestems before work begins at 7:00 AM.
• Vehicles must remain off newly sealcoated surfaces for at least 24 hours after application.
• Vehicles that obstruct paving or striping operations will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Tuesday, October 20 – Pulte Townhomes, Landbay 9-1: Work will include asphalt crack filling, parking space restriping, yellow curb repainting.

Thursday, October 22 – Friday, October 23 – Ryan Homes, Landbay 4-1: Work will include asphalt crack filling, parking space restriping, yellow curb repainting.

Important Parking Reminder: During the scheduled work dates, please remove all vehicles from the affected common area parking spaces to allow crews to complete the work safely and efficiently. Vehicles obstructing paving or striping operations may be towed at the owner’s expense.

Tibbs Paving will post signage in the affected areas a few days before the scheduled work. Work will begin at 7:00 AM each day.

Please note that all work is weather permitting, and dates are subject to change. Management will communicate any delays or schedule changes as needed.

Homeowners who are in good standing and interested in running for a Board position must complete the Candidate Statement Form and submit it to SCruz@cmc-management.com by Friday, October 23, 2026. The Candidate Statement Form can be found on the Potomac Shores Residents website: PotomacShoresResidents.com

The Election will be held at the Annual Meeting on Wednesday, December 9, 2026.

After the candidate deadline, members will receive an election package with candidate information, voting instructions, and a proxy/mail-in ballot form. Members attending the Annual Meeting will also be able to vote in person.

There is no better time to be on the trails than in the fall, when the colors can be dazzling.  (Of course spring, summer, and winter each have their own beauty as well.)

Please join us on Saturday, November 7 at 9 am for a free Intro to the Trails hike.  While the event is geared toward first-timers to the PoSho trails, returning hikers are also welcome.  

There will be two options. The longer option will be a 3.5 mile loop covering the entire Powell’s Creek Trail and circling back along Potomac River Blvd. On this hike, you’ll learn all four of the trailheads that access the northern trails. The shorter option will be approximately 1.5 miles and will allow participants to experience the trail without committing to walk its entirety. Both hikes will start at the trailhead on Potomac River Blvd., just off of Potomac Shores Parkway, where there is a large trailhead sign. Both hikes will visit the popular Dent Family Overlook.
