Potomac Shores Family Fun Day – September 12th

The Office of Potomac District Supervisor Andrea Bailey is pleased to invite you and your family to join us for Family Day with the Potomac Shores Community! This special community event will be a wonderful opportunity for families, neighbors, and community members to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and celebrate the strong sense of community that makes Potomac Shores such a great place to live.

Fall Trail Fun Run – Registration Open Now!

Registration is now open for the 2026 Potomac Shores Fall Trail Run!

Come join us on Saturday, October 3rd for our annual Fall Trail Fun Run sponsored by the Po Sho Trails Committee. This year we are again offering a 5K and a 10K option.

  • Sign-in opens at 8:30AM.
  • The starting horn goes off at 9:15AM sharp.

Get out there and enjoy our community’s beautiful trail network.

Prizes will be awarded for the fastest runners, but runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Participation is free of charge for Potomac Shores residents and their guests.

T-shirts are available for $10 on the race registration website. (Sept. 11th is the last day to order a t-shirt).

NEW THIS YEAR!

  • This year’s Trail Fun Run will be professionally timed by Arsenal Events Race Timing and Management.
  • The start line and finish line are at Central Park in Potomac Shores. (See the website for info about parking and restrooms).
  • Both the 5K and 10K course routes have been adjusted slightly to get closer to actual 5K and 10K distances. (See the website for new course route maps).


Please note that the 10K course is hilly and challenging and not suited for children under 14 or baby strollers/joggers.
