Shores Club Closed Today 10/21

Good morning Potomac Shores residents,
 
We were informed one of our employees at Potomac Shores has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.  The employee is currently in self-quarantine at this time and has not worked at the facility since last Wednesday, October 14th.  We are sending this notification out of an abundance of caution. 

If you were at the Fitness Barn on Wednesday, October 14th you may have been exposed to the virus. Please monitor your health and if you develop symptoms, please contact your health care provider for guidance.
 
Please know that we are following guidelines and taking every precaution to keep our employees and residents safe. Out of abundance of caution, we have CLOSED the Fitness Barn and Social Barn today to conduct a CDC-approved disinfecting cleaning today. The Shores Club will reopen as normal tomorrow.

As a reminder, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the virus is thought to spread mainly between people who are in close contact with one another (within about 6 feet) through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs or sneezes.  If you experience symptoms of respiratory illness (fever, coughing or shortness of breath), please contact your health care provided.   Stay home if they have respiratory symptoms (coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath) and/or a temperature above 100.4 F. Wear a face covering when in public areas. Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue, elbow, or shoulder (not the bare hands). Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.   

             

Final Paving – Ryan Homes Section – Starting Friday, 10/23

Dear Potomac Shores Residents,
 
Starting this Friday, October 23rd, Superior Paving is scheduled to final top the asphalt on the streets below. The paving will take 4-5 days to complete. During this time, vehicles cannot be parked on the highlighted streets from 7am – 5pm. Signs will also be posted throughout the sections. Any vehicles which impede the paving operations will be towed at the owner’s expense.
