River Water Irrigation Reminder

Please be advised that some common areas within the community are irrigated with water from Powell’s Creek. Utilizing this water for irrigation significantly reduces the Association’s water expense, however it is possible that the water may cause discoloration on concrete and other surfaces.  While the sprinklers were installed with the intent to direct the water spray towards the turf and landscaping, certain conditions, such as wind, can cause the water to spray into unintended areas.  Please note that if you chose to place any property, including but not limited to parking vehicles, near irrigated areas you do so at your own risk and the Association will not be liable for discoloration to your property.

The areas irrigated with water from Powell’s Creek includes all of Potomac River Boulevard, Potomac Shores Parkway from Cherry Hill Road to Dunnington Place, Dunnington Place and Crossvine Drive common area off of Potomac River Boulevard.
