Dear Potomac Shores Residents,
An informational presentation will be held in the cafeteria at Covington-Harper Elementary School on Tuesday, July 24th at 6:30pm. Representatives from the SunCal development team will present information regarding plans for the Potomac Shores Town Center. If you are not able to attend, but are interested, information will be posted on the HOA’s website after the presentation.

Please make note of the following for the holiday next Wednesday, July 4th:
Pools will be open 10:00am – 8:00pm
Fitness Barn hours are 7:00am to 5:00pm
HOA Office will be closed
Trash and Recycling Pick up normally scheduled for Friday, July 6th, will instead be serviced Saturday, July 7th. The company is operating one day behind due to the 4th of July holiday.

The results of the vote were that a majority of the homeowners did not vote to have the developer construct the two tennis courts, so the developer will pay the Association a cash contribution of $150,000 to use towards recreational amenities.
A Committee of homeowners will research ideas and provide suggestions on what to use the money for. More information will be provided in the near future if you are interested in volunteering for this Committee!
Also, although the proffer states the developer is to pay the $150,000 by July 1, 2019 – the developer stated that they will pay the $150,000 to the Association by Labor Day 2018. Also the developer has offered, that should the homeowners wish to construct the tennis courts with the $150,000, then they will construct the needed retaining wall at the recreation center for the tennis courts. We will continue to keep you updated!

Also, turf applications scheduled for today will be postponed until Monday, June 25th.
