Please review the important reminders below to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable pool season. We look forward to a great summer at the pool!
Access Badge Reminder
- All residents age 5 and older MUST have an Access Badge to enter the pool.
- Your Access Badge works at both pool locations.
- Your Access Badge will only be active if your HOA account is in good standing. Please be sure to check your HOA account as Access Badges will be deactivated if you are not in good standing with HOA assessments.
Need a New or Updated Badge?
Visit the Fitness Barn front desk to get your new Access Badge.
- Homeowners, please bring one of the following:
- Photo ID with your Potomac Shores address
- Photo ID & HUD-1 or Deed (for new homeowners)
- Tenants, please bring:
- Photo ID
- A copy of your Lease Agreement
- Your Tenant Permission to Use Facilities Form, click here to view. *Please note that this form must be completed by the homeowner/landlord.*
- Lost Access Badge
- The Access Badge replacement fee is $25. (Check or credit card only. No cash accepted.)
Badge Printing Hours at the Fitness Barn:
- Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Saturday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pool Guest Policy Reminder
- Regular days: Maximum of 4 guests per household.
- Holidays & Holiday Weekends: Maximum of 2 guests per household.
- Includes: Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, and Labor Day Weekend
- All guests must be accompanied by the resident for the entire duration of their visit. A valid guest pass through Cell Badge is required for each guest.

Pool Guest Passes – CellBadge
Pool guest passes are managed through CellBadge. Only household members age 16 or older with an active Access Badge can bring guests to the pool and be added to CellBadge.
Step 1: Register (New Households Only)
- If you are a new resident, register here:
- Potomacshores.cellbadge.com/Register
- **If you registered last year, do NOT register again.** Simply log into your existing account.
Step 2: Submit Initial Request
- One primary household member must complete the “Initial Add Request.”
- We will review and approve your account.
- Once approved, you will receive instructions (by email/text) to add other household members.
- **Only household members 16 or older with an active Access Badge can be added to CellBadge.**
- Any household member added that is under 16 and/or does not have an active Access Badge will be rejected.
Step 3: Receive Free Guest Passes
- After approval, your account will automatically receive 5 free guest passes when the pool opens.
- At the pool:
- Lifeguards will check in your guests using your last name
- You can monitor your guest passes in the CellBadge app (Apple & Android)
Step 4: Purchase Additional Passes
- Additional guest passes are $5 per person.
- You can purchase them:
- In the CellBadge app
- At the Fitness Barn front desk (once pool season begins)
Important Reminders
- Guest passes from previous seasons do NOT carry over.
- CellBadge is for Guest Passesonly.

Cabana Rentals
We start accepting Cabana Rentals on Monday, May 11th at 8:00 AM at the Fitness Barn front desk.
Important to Note:
- First-come, first-served basis. Call-ahead reservations/holding slots will not be accepted.
- Rentals must be made in-person with the Fitness Barn front desk staff.
- The signed contract and payment are due at the time of making the reservation.
- Fees: $20 for one (1) Cabana, paid by check or card. No cash accepted.
- Time Slots:
- Morning: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Maximum = One (1) Cabana per Household per day.
- No all-day rentals.
- Cabana rentals are nonrefundable.
- You may call the Fitness Barn front desk at 703-640-3970 to check on availability.

Pool Barn Rentals
We start accepting Pool Barn Rentals on Monday, May 11th at 8:00 AM.
Important to Note:
- The signed contract and security deposit are due at the time of making the reservation.
- Refundable Security Deposit: $50, paid by check or money order. No cash accepted.
- Rental Fee: $100, paid by credit card or check. No cash accepted.
- Time Slots:
- Morning: 11:00AM-3:00PM
- Afternoon: 4:00PM-8:00PM
- Maximum Capacity: 25 persons
