Please note that this is the correct date of the event. We apologize for any confusion if you saw other dates published for this event. Please spread the word. Start time is 9:00AM at the Fitness Barn parking lot.
On Saturday, May 6, 2023, the Trails Committee will host the Potomac Shores Community SPRING Trail Fun Run. The spring run will be slightly lower key than the 2022 Fall Run (no prizes or t-shirts), but it’s an excellent opportunity to enjoy a morning on our beautiful trails with other Po Sho community neighbors. The event is geared toward families and runners and walkers of all ability levels and aims to introduce or re-introduce you to our beautiful Potomac Shores trail network. Please note that the dates for this year’s spring Potomac Shores Trail Walks have been updated. The correct dates are:

Saturday, June 10 at 1:00 PM

Sign up now on Eventbrite under “Cherry Hill Historical Trail Walk.” Plan to meet at the Heritage Ridge trailhead located at the beginning of Potomac River Blvd (it will be the 2nd trailhead on your right after turning off Potomac Shores parkway).

Below is an official message from Troon Golf Management and the Developers Potomac Shores Management Team:

We are writing to advise you that there has been a recent incident involving an employee of the Potomac Shores Golf Club, in which a camera was placed in a restroom. The employee in question, the club’s general manager, was arrested by the Prince William County Police Department and was immediately fired. We are fully cooperating with the authorities on the on-going investigation. There are senior Troon Golf executives on-site to support all staff, members and guests and to prevent any disruptions in service. We take any reports of criminal activity very seriously and the safety and privacy of our residents, members, guests and staff remains our top priority. This is an ongoing investigation, and we will continue to work with local authorities.
