Amendments to Supplemental Design Guidelines – Effective Immediately

Good afternoon Potomac Shores Residents,

At the September meeting, the Board of Directors approved amendments to the Supplemental Design Guidelines. The changes include adding language that allows for no more than two (2) small pet signs per lot which may not be placed in common areas or sidewalk easements, storage of cars under car covers are prohibited, clarification on mulching of flower and tree beds, and shortening of the violation due process. Homeowners are also permitted to have one (1) political sign on their lot during election time that cannot exceed 2 feet x 2 feet. Political signs may be posted 30 days prior to the election and must be removed immediately after the election.

Asphalt Sealcoating: Shores Club Parking Lot and Shared Driveways 10/7-10/8

IMPORTANT ASPHALT NOTICE
Dear Potomac Shores Residents,

Please mark your calendars and plan accordingly! 
The Shores Club Parking Lot will be CLOSED next Wednesday, October 7th and Thursday, October 8th.
Superior Paving will be performing asphalt seal coating and re-striping of the Shores Club parking lot. We ask that everyone be vacated by 6:00 AM on Wednesday, October 7th.  Any cars in the parking lot will be relocated to the golf course gravel lot.

Also, the pipe-stem shared driveways on the following streets will be seal coated on Wednesday, October 7th :   

  • Belle Isle Drive
  • Twin Six Lane
  • Silver Arrow Drive
  • Gullwing Drive
  • Miss Packard Court
  • Spring Cress Drive

Any vehicles which impede the paving operations will be towed at the owner’s expense.
