SHORES CLUB EXTENDED CLOSURE

Dear Potomac Shores Residents,

As always, we continue to focus on the health and safety of our residents and staff members during this challenging time. In line with Governor Northam’s Executive Orders, we are proceeding with extending the closure of both the Social Barn and Fitness Barn.

The Social Barn and Fitness Barn will remain CLOSED until Thursday, May 28th. We are planning to reopen on Friday, May 29th, however that date may be extended. All classes, club meetings and committee meetings scheduled during that time are cancelled. We also plan to have a late pool opening in line with the Governor’s orders.

During this time, please feel free to contact our staff for any questions via e-mail.

As a friendly reminder, with more people spending more time outdoors we have noticed that there has been more trash than usual along the sidewalks and around the community. When out walking with your family and your pets, please remember to properly dispose of any trash and to pick up your pet’s waste. Please also make sure your pets are on a leash while out to ensure the safety of all residents.

We will continue to keep you updated. Thank you for your understanding during this challenging time and stay safe!

Upcoming Front Porch Newsletter

Dear Potomac Shores Residents,

As we prepare the upcoming “Front Porch” Newsletter, we thought it would be a great opportunity to capture the following in our next Newsletter, published in June:

  1. Honoring the Graduating Seniors of Potomac Shores:  If you have a high school or college Senior, graduating in 2020, and would like to honor them in our upcoming newsletter, please send their full name, school, and photo (if desired).  Photos published may be small in size, so consider a headshot, or a close-up shot for best visibility.
  2. Additionally, are there any Home or Yard projects you’ve done while quarantined?
  3. Any other Helpful tips, tricks, or “virtual” social activities you have done that has helped your family or community get through COVID-19?

Share these with us!  We want to see and share as many as we can and have room for in the Newsletter!  Send us the information and photos on your Graduating Seniors, Home or Yard Projects, Social Distancing tips/tricks or Virtual Social Activities you’ve done!

You can do so by sending a Facebook message to the Potomac Shores Communication Committee page, or by emailing us at:  CommunicationsPotomacShores@gmail.com no later than May 9.

Thank you,
