Good afternoon Potomac Shores Residents,
Starting Tuesday, February 25th, Shenandoah Landscaping will be conducting elevation and structural pruning of HOA-owned sidewalk street trees in the Northern Neighborhood. This work will help prevent tree limbs from overhanging sidewalks and streets, ensuring clear access for pedestrians and vehicles.
Tree limbs will be elevated to a height of 8–15 feet (as appropriate for each tree), and crews will remove water sprouts, sucker growth, and improperly cut stubbed limbs. All debris will be hauled off-site, and the project will be overseen by their in-house certified arborist. Work is expected to take several weeks.
To facilitate this process, please avoid parking immediately next to street trees during this time to allow crews the necessary access.
Any updates on this project will be on the announcement section of the website at www.potomacshoresresidents.com.
Thank you for your cooperation!
