Do you want to know more about the important historical events that occurred here in our own back-yard?

Join us for our Historic Dumfries Trail Walks on Saturday, July 27th (general history of the area, including the pre-colonial period, the Revolutionary War, and the Civil War).

It’s a great way to enjoy the beautiful Potomac Shores trails while learning some local history. The hikes will be led by the local historical organization Historic Dumfries. All ages are welcome.

The group will meet at the Heritage Ridge trailhead on Potomac River Blvd on July 27th, 2024 at 9 AM.

Dear Potomac Shores Community, we are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Shores Snack Oasis at the Shores Club Pool Barn!

Join us for a day of fun, treats, and celebration on Sunday, July 21st at 11am. To kick off this exciting event, the first 50 guests will receive a complimentary ice pop or popcorn—your choice!

While we would love to serve you every day, our snack bar will be open during the remainder of the 2024 pool season on the following days:

– Wednesday
– Thursday
– Friday
– Sunday

Please note, the snack bar will be closed on days the space is reserved for Resident Pool Barn Rentals. 

This season, Shores Snack Oasis is delighted to offer a delicious array of snacks, including nachos, popcorn, drinks, candy, and cold sweet treats. We can’t wait to see you there and be a part of your summer fun!
