Food Truck Night, Thursday 8/17

Join us fJoin us for food truck night this Thursday, August 17 from 4pm to 8pm. Stop by and pick up dinner and dessert on your way home! The Smoking Swines’ BBQ and MooThru Winchester ice cream truck will be parked along Potomac Shores Pkwy close to the neighborhood entrance. Please park at Covington- Harper elementary school.

Join us for Potomac Shores food truck night this Thursday, August 3 from 4pm to 7:30pm! Grab some dinner and dessert on your way home. The food trucks will be parked along Potomac Shores Pkwy near the neighborhood entrance. Please park at Covington- Harper elementary school. Taco One DC will serve from 5pm to 7:30pm and pre-orders are available https://gfynd.in/dl/ZiJ7. Taco One DC will have vegetarian options and pre-orders are recommended. End your night with Duck Donut’s delicious made-to-order donuts! 

Intro the the Trails hike

INTRO TO THE TRAILS HIKE!

The Trails Committee is pleased to announce another Intro to the Trails hike on Saturday, August 19th at 9am. The first hike held on July 8 was a big success with 23 participants.

There will be two options. The longer option will be a 3 mile loop covering the entire Powell’s Creek Trail and circling back along Potomac River Blvd. On this hike, you’ll learn all four of the trailheads that access the existing trails. The shorter option will be approximately 1.5 miles and will allow participants to experience the trail without committing to walk it in its entirety. Both hikes will start at the trailhead on Potomac River Blvd., just off of Potomac Shores Parkway, where there is a large trailhead sign. Both hikes will visit the popular Dent Family Overlook.
