The Board of Directors approved creating a Landscape Committee and is looking for volunteers!
Interested homeowners in good standing with the Association are invited to submit a written candidate statement to Sara Cruz at scruz@cmc-management.com. Please include your name, address and a brief statement on why you would like to serve on the Landscape Committee. Please submit your candidate statement by next Wednesday, September 28th.
The primary responsibility of the Landscape Committee is to advise the Board of Directors in a reasonable and productive manner, on matters affecting the use, enjoyment, and upkeep of the common area landscaping.
In accomplishing this goal, the Board of Directors shall assign the Landscape Committee with tasks from time to time that may include but not be limited to:
- Providing the Board of Directors with recommendations for specifications and scope of services for common area landscape maintenance, irrigation and enhancements.
- Providing the Board with recommendations regarding policy rules and regulations for use of the common areas which is owned and maintained by the Association.
- Annual review of common area trees and recommend any replacements to Board of Directors.
- Assist in developing turf renovation programs and provide annual recommendations to the Board of Directors.
- Assist with developing specifications and provide input during the bid process for the Association’s landscape maintenance contract and irrigation contract.
- Assist with common area inspections when transitioning common areas from developer to HOA.
Provide the Board of Directors with annual budgetary recommendations for the Landscape Committee and common area landscape needs.
