Pool Update

Potomac Shores Residents,

As a reminder, the pools will open on Saturday, May 29, 2021!

Due to Governor Northam’s recent announcement of easing all restrictions as of May 28th, the pools will now be opening with no distancing or capacity restrictions. There will no longer be a reservation system. We will be operating the pools under regular Policy Resolution No. 8 Pool Policy.

All patrons entering the pools will still be required to agree and sign the COVID-19 waiver at the entrance gate. Linked is a copy of the COVID-19 waiver for your review. The Association’s Pool Policy No. 8 can be found here on the website under Resident Information.

Important Reminders:

  • Anyone 5 years old and older will require an access badge to enter. Access badges are printed at the Fitness Barn front desk.
  • Guest passes will be mailed out today. You should be receiving them in the next few days. If you have guest passes from previous years, they are also still valid.

Lifeguards are still needed!
Premier Aquatics is actively recruiting lifeguards to work at the Potomac Shores pools. Below is a flyer if you know of any neighbors or teens needing a summer job!

Memorial Day Holiday Reminders – Monday, May 31st

  • The Fitness Barn will be open 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • The HOA office will be closed.
  • Trash collection will be provided as regularly scheduled on Monday, May 31st. Crews may come through the neighborhood earlier than normal, please make sure items are at curbside the night before to ensure collection.

We look forward to a wonderful summer back at the pools!

Pool Update

Due to the recent changes in COVID-19 regulations announced by Governor Northam and CDC, the Potomac Shores Board is currently reviewing the pool policy and will likely be making changes. We will be sending an update as soon as possible! Thank you for your patience.
