
Health Fair postponed to January 21st 8am-1pm
Due to the weather forecast for Saturday, we are postponing the Health Fair to next Saturday, January 21st from 8am-1pm at the Fitness Barn and Social Barn.
Dumfries Water Tank Storage Public Meeting
Date: Monday, February 13, 2017 (with a snow date of February 22, 2017)
Location: Ferlazzo 15941 Donald Curtis Drive, Woodbridge – Cafeteria
Time: 7:00 pm
Purpose: To discuss the Public Facility Review (PFR) process for the Dumfries Water Storage Tank (formerly referred to as Cherry Hill Storage Tank)
Exterior Lights On Reminder
Just a reminder for residents who may not be aware that exterior lighting must be on during non-daylight hours. Most homes have a light switch in the garage which controls these exterior lights on the outside of your home. These lights are controlled on a daylight sensor so there is no need to ever turn off the switch in the garage.
This information can be found in the Supplemental Design Guidelines excerpt #4 below:
Exterior Maintenance. The exterior of a home and lot must be maintained in an attractive manner.
- No significant blistering or peeling of exterior painted surfaces is permitted.
- Any exterior building components (i.e., siding, gutters and downspouts, roof shingles, windows and doors), which are missing, stained, broken or otherwise in a state of disrepair, must be repaired as quickly as possible.
- Hoses should be rolled up on a reel or hidden from view when not in use.
- Because exterior lights and lamps assist in community appearance and safety, they shall not be removed or turned off during hours of darkness; they shall be maintained in good working order. Burnt-out bulbs shall be promptly replaced. The primary front exterior light(s) (either the garage-mounted carriage lights or the post-mounted yard light) shall be connected to a daylight sensor.
- Decks, Screened Porches, Patio, Fences, Arbors and Pergolas must be Just a maintained in good condition at all times.
