The Community-wide Yard Sale will be this Saturday, Oct. 1, from 8 am – Noon. If you have items for sale, tie a balloon to your mailbox so shoppers can easily see the next house to go to. We will advertise the upcoming sale on Craig’s List and Angie’s List.
After the yard sale, around 1 p.m., a truck from the “Purple Heart” charity will drive through the neighborhood accepting donations. However, they do not accept furniture, t.v.’s, or computer monitors. If you have items to donate, bag or box them up, leave them in your driveway, keep your balloon flying, and label them “For Purple Heart.” The driver will leave a receipt on your mailbox.
