RSVP FOR AN INTRO HIKE ON OUR NEWEST TRAILS!
 
Dust off those hiking boots and join the Trails Committee at 9:00 AM on December 7th for a hike that will cover three of our newest trails.
 
We will meet at the South Hawkins Trailhead at the end of Sugarberry Road.  We will hike the length of that trail, then cross River Heritage Boulevard and pick up the Timber Branch Trail (TBT).  This trail will take us to the Possum Nose Loop, which will eventually circle us back to the TBT.  We’ll take the TBT back to River Heritage Boulevard, then road walk back to our cars.  The full walk is approximately 2 1/2 miles and should take roughly two hours.
 
Please note that these trails are a little more challenging than the Northern Trails, with some steeper ups and downs.

Thanksgiving Holiday Reminders

• The Shores Club/Fitness Barn will be closed all day on Thursday, November 28th.
• The HOA office will be closed Wednesday, November 27th through Friday, November 29th.
• Trash and Recycling will not be collected on Thursday, November 28th. Trash/Recycling will be collected on Friday, November 29th. Please make sure to put your trash toters out the night before as crews come through earlier than usual on make-up days.

As we all enter the busy Holiday season, we would like to remind you of the upcoming collection schedule and inclement weather policies.

Yard Debris: We would like to remind you of our policies on yard debris collection. Please keep in mind, Grass clippings and leaves need to be placed in compostable yard waste bags. Personal cans may be used; however they need to be clearly marked “Yard Debris”. Tree limbs and brush must be no longer than 4 5 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter. These items must be tied with rope or twine in arm length bundles. We will collect a maximum of 10 bags of grass clippings and / or leaves, and 10 bundles of brush per pickup. Items that are bagged and bundled are not to exceed 50lbs. Concrete; rocks, mulch, sod and dirt are not accepted.

Thanksgiving Day: Office is closed and no service will be provided. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, will be serviced as normal. Thursday and Friday services will be on a one day delay.

Christmas Day & New Year’s Day: Office is closed and no services will be provided. Monday and Tuesday collection will be as normal. Any services scheduled for Wednesday through Friday, service will be on a one day delay.

Recycling Material during the Holidays Due to the heavy volume of items during the holiday season, we ask that recycling boxes be broken down to fit inside your container. If you have heavy volume, space your recycling material out between several different collection days.

Christmas Tree Collection: Christmas trees will be collected on your yard waste day for the first two weeks of January. We ask all tinsel and decorations be removed. Please do not place trees in plastic bags.
Inclement Weather: Safety in your community is our primary concern. Roads and/or areas which are deemed unsafe due to snow or ice will be suspended for collection. If suspension occurs, please visit us on our website at www.americandisposal.com, for any updates to your collection schedule.
