Get ready to kick off summer — the Potomac Shores Pools opens for the season this Saturday, May 24th! We’re excited to welcome everyone back for sunny days, refreshing swims, and great memories by the pool. 

To access the pools, all residents ages 5 and older will be required to bring in their Potomac Shores access badge like previous years.

Please note that in observance of the Memorial Day holiday, the HOA management office will be closed on Monday, May 26th. The Fitness Barn will be open from 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Trash collection will be provided as regularly scheduled on Monday, May 26th. Crews may come through the neighborhood earlier than normal, please make sure items are at curbside the night before to ensure collection.

IT’S TIME TO SIGN UP FOR THIS FRIDAY’S NIGHT HIKE!
 
The Potomac Shores Trails Committee and the Potomac Shores Skywatchers will co-host their second night hike and star-gazing event this Friday, May 9th, starting at 8:45PM.

The hike will meet at the North Pond Trailhead on Potomac River Blvd near the intersection with Potomac Shores Parkway (link to location below). We will do a two-mile loop hike with a stop at Dent Family Overlook. The hike will run an hour and a half, maybe less. Then those who are interested are invited to take a five minute drive to view the full moon through a telescope (assuming the weather cooperates).
 
To make sure the hike is safe, we are asking that every participant bring a headlamp or hand held flashlight. Children should either be young enough to be carried in a pack or old enough to walk independently without assistance. Please, no dogs—we love our furry friends, but want to preserve the natural night ambience.
